In business:

Getting into that back to school mode as September approaches and thinking about what I can do to spark a bit of life into my enquiries & conversions.

Editing my own brand photos so I can be a bit more on it for marketing. 

Thinking about updating galleries & actually doing some social media posts, and also working on some videos and the Academy. 

Having just finished my first boudoir/empowerment shoot in several years, thinking about whether I want to offer those more widely again.

Enjoying the studio a lot more now the heatwaves have finished! 

In art & personal photography work:

Playing with new ideas for the vending machine mini prints.

Having been wildly inspired by a visit to Talliston, starting to experiment with physical real life journals for my alter egos and their backstories.

Applying for the November Wivenhoe Art Trail and getting ready for that, including adding to my body of work for display. 

Pondering model horses, dolls and playing with scale. 

In life:

The camper car is still front & centre, and am prepping to take that to IdeasFest with a bunch of friends and camp for two days while meeting loads of other epic business people, which will be glorious. 

Had the most inspiring day ever visiting Talliston, also have Fantasy Forest Libertalia coming up, though am driving to and from that one on all three days because kittens, Gran and I didn’t have a camper car when I booked my tickets.

Figuring out costumes for FF and outfits for IF. 

Surrounded by gentle chaos after my first model horse show in 13 years and a doll meet over the summer – I have so many ideas and not enough time or space but it’s percolating! 

Absolutely flatly refusing to spend time on housework, but have had lots of time with Mum & Gran over the summer, also lots of time with Lu in the van, a visit from Rhiannon and a lido swim with her & Ally, and a trip to Dad’s columbarium to lay flowers which turned into a lot of chatting to other people there who have lost loved ones. Which was surprisingly nice, actually. 

Kittens, always – Clovie has learned that if she waves her paw around I will probably squee and give her treats. Luna is back to snuggling under the sheets with me now it’s not 37 degrees in the house. They both make me ridiculously happy.

Really, really loving writing on Substack – I am writing regularly for the first time in years and it really feels like the golden age of blogging over there. 

Bringing the first Cahoots workshop to life with Becky in September, and working on the Just In Case Kit to launch later this year with Sarah & Creative Reboot. 

Finding colours for secret new flavours for TEMPRD to release later in the year. 

Moving Ink Drops hosting and have moved both Ink Drops and Creative Reboot to Substack in the past few weeks.
